Oligio X is a monopolar radiofrequency device developed by Wontech, the South Korean company also behind the Pico Majesty picosecond laser. It is the next-generation evolution of Wontech’s widely used Oligio RF platform, delivering 400 watts of 6.78MHz monopolar RF energy with a dual-mode treatment system designed to address skin laxity at multiple tissue depths in a single session.

How It Works

Monopolar RF delivers energy through the skin using a single active electrode, creating a deep heating effect that stimulates collagen and elastin production. What distinguishes Oligio X is its GXG dual-mode architecture, which sequences two distinct treatment phases. G mode delivers broad heating across the upper dermis, while X mode focuses energy more deeply into the dermis and subcutaneous fat tissue. Both modes are delivered within the same session, allowing for a more layered approach to tissue remodeling than single-mode RF devices provide.

The OSCA smart algorithm monitors energy delivery in real time throughout treatment, adjusting output based on tissue response to maintain consistent heating and reduce the risk of uneven energy distribution.

What It Treats

Oligio X is designed for mild to moderate skin laxity on both the face and body. On the face it addresses the midface, jowls, jawline, neck, and submental area. For the body it is used on the abdomen, arms, thighs, and other areas where tissue firmness has diminished. The high power output and dual-depth coverage make it particularly suited for body applications where deeper tissue penetration is needed.

What to Expect

A return pad is placed on the lower back before treatment begins, and a protective fluid is applied to the skin throughout the session to maintain consistent contact. Most patients describe a warm sensation with no numbing required. There is no downtime, and mild redness typically resolves within a few hours.

Some patients notice an immediate tightening effect after treatment due to acute thermal contraction of collagen. Longer-term improvement in firmness continues to develop over the following weeks and months as new collagen forms.
