PicoWay Treatment for Melasma in NYC

Reveal Your Radiance with Pico Laser

Melasma is a common skin condition characterized by dark, irregular patches that often appear on the cheeks, forehead, and upper lip. These patches can be triggered by sun exposure, hormonal changes, or genetics, and while melasma is harmless, it can be a source of frustration for those seeking a more even complexion. We offer advanced Pico Laser treatment, a breakthrough solution for melasma that delivers impressive results with minimal downtime. Unlike traditional lasers, the Pico Laser uses ultra-short pulses of energy (measured in picoseconds) to precisely target and break down pigment in the skin. This innovative approach minimizes heat exposure, reducing the risk of irritation and making it suitable for all skin types, including darker complexions.

How Pico Laser Works

  • Targeted Pigment Removal: The laser’s rapid pulses shatter melanin (pigment) into tiny particles, which are naturally eliminated by the body over time.
  • Minimal Discomfort: Most patients experience only mild redness or swelling, which typically resolves within hours to a few days.
  • No Downtime: You can return to your daily activities almost immediately after treatment.
  • Collagen Stimulation: In addition to fading melasma, Pico Laser stimulates collagen production, improving overall skin texture and radiance.

What to Expect

You would start with a personalized consultation, where we assess your skin and discuss your goals. Treatments are tailored to your unique needs, ensuring safety and optimal results. Most patients notice gradual improvement over several sessions, with skin appearing brighter and more even-toned after each visit.
