Sebaceous Hyperplasia

Sebaceous hyperplasia involves enlarged oil glands that appear as small, yellow or skin-colored bumps.

Characteristics:

  • Often found on the face.
  • Can resemble basal cell carcinoma.
  • Usually harmless.

Treatment:

  • No treatment required unless for cosmetic reasons.
  • Options include laser therapy, electrosurgery, or topical treatments.
