Skin Tags

Skin tags are small, soft, skin-colored growths that hang off the skin.

Characteristics:

  • Commonly found on the neck, armpits, and under the breasts.
  • More prevalent in older adults and those with obesity or diabetes.

Treatment:

  • Can be removed for cosmetic reasons or if they become irritated.
  • Removal methods include cutting, freezing, or burning.
